Vegas Baby

You Heard Me

Vegas Baby

Postby chad kilroy » Tue Jul 05, 2016 4:08 pm

I have never had any interest in going to the Vegas of Las. I don't gamble and I stopped drinking years ago. But Mrs. Kilroy and I are meeting friends of ours from Canada, you don't know them, at Treasure Island. I have no clue what to do there that doesn't involve gambling or boozing. I think we have free tickets to Cirque de Soleil (sp?) but other than that we will be 4 Vegas virgins in Sin City.

If anyone could recommend places to eat, hang out, fun and or frivolity that don't involve me putting my kids college education on red or black, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance, degenerates.

I really do not think that I would go to Vegas without playing some blackjack.

EVERY show I've seen there has been fun. Even the schmaltziest, most pop, cover band.

The Hoover Dam is a short drive away.

Full disclosure-I've been there 5 or 6 times and never seen the Hoover Dam.

It's a big dam. 15 minutes later and you're ready to go do something else.

Vegas has tons of shows every night. Just ask around when you get there.

I went there a few years ago and had some killer cheese sticks at Applebees.
Virtually everything GOP critics have told us would follow from the policies put in place has not come to pass. You would think that this would occasion a few mea culpas, some rethinking, an admission of poor prognostication. But, alas, it continues.

Make dinner reservations for the Top of the World Restaurant in the Stratosphere Tower you won't regret it.

Ride the roller coaster at NY NY.

Eat at White Castle at 4oclock in the morning.

Watch the water show at the Bellagio

The Britney show was really good at Planet Hollywood. Zumanity on the other sucked.

Get your picture taken with topless showgirls.

Go to Fremont St. Experience if you dare.

Dinner at the strat is pretty sweet. Did that the night before our wedding. Well worth it.

I've been to vegas once. called my friend to ask her what I could do that didn't involve losing the mortgage and she told me about red rock canyon. Since we do all sorts of day trails, I figured it would be fun. It is amazing how you lose the perspective of distance in a desert.

I'm about to agree with Boutshat so write this down!

The Fremont Experience is my favorite part of going to Vegas. I just like the old school feel of the old casinos, even if I'm not gambling. There's also the Heart Attack Grill in that area, if that's your thing.
