Cocker and Belushi. An all-timer.

Virtually everything GOP critics have told us would follow from the policies put in place has not come to pass. You would think that this would occasion a few mea culpas, some rethinking, an admission of poor prognostication. But, alas, it continues.

He had an amazing voice.

When you talk about cover songs that blow the original away, his version of ...With a Little Help from My Friends is the first song that comes to mind for me.

I like his version, but I don't think it blows away the original. Just very different takes on the song. He was a tour de force as a performer. Ringo definitely wasn't. So if I want to watch somebody perform it, Cocker wins. But to just listen I would go with the original.

But I get your point.

Wore out the Mad Dogs and Englishmen Tour live album back in the early 70's when I was just a kid.

May he rest in peace.
